If the Falcons are found guilty of tampering the most likely penalties are either forfeiting picks, like Miami last year, or a pick swap with the aggrieved party, like the Cards and Eagles last year over Gannon. It would be preferable for the Falcons to lose a pick swap, rather than forfeit the pick outright. Kwesi can only trade the picks he has - 2025 5th rounders, 2026 picks, or a 2025 Compensatory 3rd which will not be awarded until next year. Kwesi could be forcing the Falcons to accept a very unfavourable pick swap. If this scenario does eventuate it would make both the Vikes trade up for Turner, and the Falcons selection of Penix make a lot more sense....

He was artificially pushed down to 17 because several teams over drafted QBs and potentially for preferred team fits. Kwesi moved up from 42 to effectively pick a top 10 guy. I'm pretty sure the Jets would have laughed at pick 42 + 2025 2nd, 3rd & 4th in exchange for pick 10. Those future picks are potentially worth even less with Turner on board and helping the team to more wins this season.
